The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of work and play! We are packing up like fiends one day and then the next day we tour 4 museums in Philadelphia in one day to get some things knocked off our “before we go” list. We have also had the extreme pleasure of meeting with friends we see all the time and some whom we have not seen in years. These latter visits are always followed by “why did it take us so long to get together?” And if not for the fact that we are moving halfway across the country, we may still not have made those dates. Case in point, we met with Buzz’s college roommates that we have seen once in the last 38 years! What a pleasure it was to hang out with them and realize that some things don’t change and our “forgotten” friendship with them was reinvigorated and valued even more.

The outpouring of love and sincere good wishes for our future, as unplanned as it is, have energized us to get moving, literally,  and saddened us that this chapter is closing.

Enter the wonders of the Internet….it does not seem quite so permanent of a good-bye when we know we will be chatting with you via email and Facebook and this blog.

So….let the craziness begin! Right after we pack up the garage!
