Twin Lakes is our second home, filled with lifelong friends, lots of laughter, fabulous meals, a hypnotic lake view, and lots of wine! The days are long and slow; the biggest decision to be made all day is red or white. The mis-Management of Donna and Ted adds to the charm…everything is calm and takes lots of careful consideration….which chair do I want to melt into on the porch; whose turn is it to throw another log on the fire; which float should I set sail in.
We were planning on going to see Dolly Parton at Tanglewood but when the time came to leave the lake to get dressed….we all gave it careful consideration and stayed at the lake to laze some more.
This year’s relaxation was interrupted by a visit to the ER for a pain in the back of my knee diagnosed as a Baker’s cyst. I was told to rest so I took it very seriously!!
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Donna and Ted for letting us recharge our batteries there for the last 26 years. And don’t worry, Donna, we will be back!

Nice to read that while I’m sitting on the porch right now at Arcady Wood listening to the dusk birds. Wish you were here!

Too much sun on the dock! Need several more umbrellas. The mismanagement of Arcady Wood will leave the lights on for ya!
