Well, we did it…we stepped off the proverbial ledge into homelessness….we closed on the house sale today to a very nice young couple whom we feel will love our former home and take good care of it. We wish them all the best.
But our homelessness is only a state of not owning shelter. We have felt so safe and sheltered these last few weeks by the tremendous outpouring of support from friends and family that we don’t feel that not having any roots planted is a bad state…at least not yet. We are so looking forward to our adventure and the part where our bodies are actually where our hearts have been for years….with our kids in Colorado.
So today starts the adventure. We started off with a private tour of Rock Lititz followed by tonight in the Rock Lititz Suite at the General Sutter Inn. Cool rooms with rock themes, a lounge area and kitchen and laundry exclusively for the 6 rooms up here.
So we are enjoying a couple hours of no boxes to pack, no inventory to take, no decisions to make except where to go for dinner! These past couple of months have been so exhausting that we are grateful for a little downtime before we head up to Corning New York tomorrow.

You are my first homeless couple I know and want to be homeless also if I ever get the guts to just live in our RV full time! Rock on!
