We have told the working world to take a hike so are newly retired as of April, 2016. We have been married going on 37 years and love to travel and try to step outside our comfort zones to experience all life has to offer. We have been privileged to have traveled to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Thailand and Panama, as well as about 42 states in the USA but we have lots more to see!

Previously we would always try to cram as much into the day as we could, which was fabulous and exhausting! This time, we plan on being slow travelers…finding smaller villages and towns, renting a house or apartment, spending more time in each place, getting to know it and the locals, savoring the special flavor each place offers. We are heading on the road at the end of May, 2016 beginning with a quick exploration of the northern part of the East Coast then we will spend the summer out West with the plan of landing somewhere in Southeast Asia this fall.
