On July 5, our excursion to see Bundhusdalen glacier left at 8am. The description of the excursion was a little misleading: did not tell us we would be hiking almost 2 miles uphill!! The glacier far away and unimpressive but the scenery up to the glacier was breathtaking!
I took some beautiful video but the Internet on the ship will not let me stream anything so I can’t get it to load to YouTube so I can post it. Maybe at the end of the trip I can add it…

We passed a number of salmon farms. Each “cage” holds 5,000 salmon and they are harvested twice per year.

We stopped at an amazing waterfall (one of many, I will learn). Furebergsfossen was incredible and you just drive past it on the road!

We had dinner at the other specialty restaurant, Toscanna. This was the first time any of us were introduced to a flight of olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Dinner was delicious but we all ate way too much food and we all had trouble sleeping!!
